The Telegraph reports on one of the islands bought by the Emir of Qatar

I remember when the Emir arrived in Corfu on an island-hunting expedition in Sept. 2011 (Athens News)

I hope the Emir doesn't read Spyros Plaskovitis' The Facade Lady of Corfu. 

The islands are part of the Echinades chain.
